We have designed the course to start in Cairns and the Finish Line is at Port Douglas.

We can arrange to have your luggage transported from Cairns to Port Douglas Finish Line so all you have to worry about is your race. We will also have drop bags for you too, contact us for more details. Your support crew is welcome at 3 Check Points on the course, see the information below and our check point page.

Kuranda - CPTU20 - 33 Minutes from Cairns, 26 minutes from Kamerunga

Bump Track Trail Head - 41 Minutes from Port Douglas, 1 hour 18 minutes from Kuranda the back way, 1.3 hours via the Captain Cook Drive.

Port Douglas Surf Life Saving Club - Finish CPTU120, CPTU80, Start/Finish CPTU10 Beach Smash, 1 hour 4 minutes from Cairns, 54 minutes from Kamerunga, 1 hour 3 minutes from Kuranda.

Cairns to Port Douglas Drive

Cairns to Port Douglas drive is one of Australia’s most beautiful drives, along to stunning Captain Cook Highway. You can take it easy with many location to stop and take a photo. It will take your support crew just over an hour, to make their way up to Port Douglas. If you want to win some brownie points send them strait to the beach and let them start their holiday and leave you unsupported, relying on our Drop Bag service for the event.
