Dear CPTU entrants,

We have had to make the incredibly tough decision to cancel the Cairns Port Douglas Trail Ultra 2023. Athlete safety always comes first; we invest tens of thousands of dollars ensuring that our athletes are safe whilst racing on our course by employing QAS 4WD Ambulance on the course, Academy First Aid supports the QAS in off-road vehicles, as well as medics at checkpoints and finish lines;

Suunto have been generous for two years in a row and offering a fantastic selection of their trusted high-quality performance watches as prizes for each of the CPTU events plus the Suunto Summit which starts at CP3 Kamerunga follows Smiths track to it’s “summit.” The Suunto Summit is included in the CPTU20, CPTU80 and CPTU120 events, if you run the CPTU40 and when you finish you still have some energy, you are welcome to race the Suunto Summit after you finish your event.
